Peel Regional Police are intensifying their search for a suspect wanted in connection with a troubling sexual offence against a nine-year-old boy at Square One Shopping Mall in Mississauga. The incident has rattled the community, and the authorities are appealing to the public for assistance.
Disturbing Encounter at Square One Shopping Mall
According to police reports, the young victim was using a public washroom at the bustling Square One Shopping Mall when an unknown man allegedly engaged him in a conversation of a sexual nature. “The victim and suspect were strangers to one another,” emphasized the police, highlighting the seemingly random nature of the attack.
Detailed Suspect Description Released
The suspect is described by multiple sources as a white man with a “possibly tanned” complexion. His height is between five-foot-six and five-foot-nine inches tall, with an average to thin physique. Distinctly, he has a full beard accompanied by braids and dreadlock-styled hair, making him relatively recognizable.
At the time of the unsettling encounter, he was clothed in black pants and a black t-shirt, which reportedly had a logo. Notably, he wore distinct red ‘Air Force One’ type shoes, which could be key in identifying him.
