Peel Regional Police reported a stabbing incident that occurred on Tuesday morning just before 10:30 a.m. The location of the incident was pinpointed around the Steeles Avenue East and Kennedy Road area in Brampton.
Initial reports from the scene suggested that a student sustained minor injuries during the episode. However, later clarifications from the police generalized the information, stating that one individual had been stabbed.

As a result of the nearby disturbance, Turner Fenton Secondary, which is in close proximity to the reported area, took immediate action by going into lockdown.
